On December 2, 2025, the online seminar series entitled The Right to Food in Places of Detention. Between Law and Society. The Prison Issue will begin. The initiative is promoted by the Department of Law, Political and International Studies and organized as part of the activities of Group 4 of the “Food for Future” project within the Department of Excellence.
The first seminar, entitled Religions, Culture and Food in Places of Detention, will take place online at 3:00 PM on December 2. It will be introduced by Prof. Giovanni Francesco Basini, Director of the Department of Law, Political and International Studies, and Prof. Stefania Fucci, coordinator of the seminar series.
All meetings in the series will involve a multidisciplinary group of academics and professionals. Attendance at all four online seminars will entitle participants to the recognition of 3 extracurricular CFU (university credits).
