Summer School on European Lawfrom 20th to 24th September 2021The Law Faculty of Würzburg, Germany welcomes law students and professionals from all over the world.Participants are invited to expand their knowledge of European Law. The first 50 applicants will be granted scholarships of 200 Euro after enrolment and participation. All enrolled participants will be awarded 2 ECTS points.Due to Covid-19 the Summer School 2021 will take place online via Zoom.The aim of the program is to gain insight into current developments in the law of both the EU and the Member States and to discuss new research questions.The international group of participants will attend lectures and workshops on European Law which will be held in English.Lectures will cover the following topics:Recent Developments in European LawIntroduction to European Constitutional LawEuropean Judicial SystemProtection of Fundamental Rights in the European UnionLacking Respect for the European Values (Art. 2 TEU)European Single MarketEuropean Competition LawEuropean Company LawIntellectual Property LawEuropean Data Protection LawIntroduction to German CultureAdditional workshops will give participants the opportunity for intellectual exchange.
