ERASMUS PLUS
Erasmus Plus allows students to carry out a period of study abroad, up to a maximum of 12 months for each degree course (24 months for the single-cycle Law degree course) and/or internship, and to receive a mobility grant to partially cover the increased expenses associated with their stay abroad.
The program is divided into:
1) Erasmus+ Study (SMS) allows students to carry out part of their studies abroad in one of the countries with which the University of Parma has concluded an agreement. The Department of Law, Politics and International Studies guarantees full recognition of educational activities, such as taking exams and doing research for the writing of the dissertation.

2) Erasmus+ Internship (SMT) provides for the opportunity to conduct an internship training abroad with companies, law firms, and organizations.

OVERWORLD
OVERWORLD is a University program aimed at expanding study and mobility opportunities to non-European universities. It consists of individual student mobility at one of the Universities with a protocol of educational and scientific collaboration with the University of Parma. The Department of Law, Politics and International Studies guarantees full recognition of educational activities, such as taking exams and doing research for the writing of the graduation thesis.

The Department of Law, Politics and International Studies at the University of Parma offers the following mobility projects aimed at obtaining a double degree:

ECTS grade conversion table to UNIPR thirtieths
The Department of Law, Politics and International Studies, for the purpose of conversion of grades acquired during the Erasmus mobility periodadopts the following modalities:
- for hubs that adhere to Egracons, the platform is used;
- for hubs that do not adhere to Egracons, reference is made to the conversion table prepared ad hoc and approved by the Department Internationalization Committee:

TUTOR - INTERNATIONAL
The Internationalization Tutors carry out activities to support internationalization programs and projectsat the Department. These activities include dissemination of internationalization opportunities to students enrolled in various courses of study and support to students already in mobility during the academic year.

Information for incoming foreign Erasmus students in Parma
1) Erasmus+ students are asked to report upon their arrival in Italy, as well as once a month during their stay in Parma, to the appropriate Department Delegate;
2) exams taken at the University of Parma involve the awarding of a grade in thirtieths;
3) the ECTS credits system is operational; the table of credits can be consulted on the University of Parma website.
IALS
The Department of Law, Politics and International Studies is a member of the IALS (International Association of Law Schools). IALS is a nonprofit organization, founded in 2005, with its hub in the United States. The Association, which brings together some 100 law schools from universities on all continents, aims to contribute to the better preparation of lawyers in their pursuit of careers, including those other than law practice offered in the governmental, non-governmental, private and academic sectors. In addition, the Association offers the possibility of exchanges between students and faculty of member universities.
