On March 3, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., in Room IV of the University’s main building, the seminar entitled “Intellectual Crossovers: From Science to Law” will be held, delivered by Prof. David Allan Wirth.
The professor from Boston College Law School will conclude his period as a visiting professor at the Department of Law, Politics and International Studies with this lecture, dedicated to exploring the interactions between science and law.
David A. Wirth is a Professor and Dean’s Distinguished Scholar at Boston College Law School, where he has also served as Director of International Programs. He primarily teaches in the field of public international law. He has a significant research interest in international environmental law, a field in which he has worked and practiced for more than twenty years.
In addition to Boston College, he has taught at Harvard, M.I.T., Oxford, the Tufts Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and the University of Virginia.
The seminar will be held in English.
