The apprenticeship is a training tool that allows the student to undertake a period of work experience with public or private entities in order to develop specific personal and professional skills. Through these activities, the student acquires a direct knowledge of the work sector to which the degree may give access, as well as useful information to facilitate an informed choice in relation to his or her professional future (Decree of the Ministry of Labor March 25, 1998, No. 142; Decree of the Ministry of Universities and Scientific and Technological Research November 3, 1999, No. 509, art. 10, letter f).The performance of internships in compliance with the rules prepared by the University allows students to obtain therecognition of an appropriate number of training credits (CFUs), generally related to the number of total hours carried out by the interns at the host entity (in principle, unless otherwise specified by the Department or Degree Course Council, 25 hours of internship are equivalent to 1 CFU). The University of Parma has entered into a number of agreements with public and private entities in order to regulate the conditions and procedures for its students to carry out internship periods at host entities. ►For information, please consult the individual degree courses: Internship Course Master's Degree in LawInternship Bachelor's Degree Course in Political Science and International RelationsInternship Course Bachelor's Degree in Social ServiceInternship Master's Degree Course in Global food law: sustainability challenges and innovationInternship Master's Degree Course in Programming and Management of Social ServicesInternship Master's Degree Course in International and European Relations
