Parma, 30 July 2026 – Discounted bus passes are returning for students at the University of Parma. Once again this year, students will be able to benefit from a significant contribution towards the purchase of annual local public transport passes.
The University has renewed its agreements with the local public transport operators in Parma and Piacenza (TEP and SETA), as well as with Crédit Agricole Italia, partner of the initiative.
The aim remains to encourage more sustainable mobility choices as an alternative to private car use, thereby reducing environmental impact and supporting objectives related to lower energy consumption, reduced environmental, social and economic costs, and decreased pollution.
As in previous years, to be eligible for the contribution, students must have activated, or already have activated, their Unipr Student Card as a University of Parma Account Card (CartaConto Università di Parma) and use it to make the payment. They must also have paid their university fees.
Full details, including discount amounts, eligibility requirements, categories of beneficiaries, purchasing procedures for the passes, and other practical information, will be announced in August.
