Parma, June 30, 2026 – The University of Parma has published a call for applications for rental support contributions for off-site students regularly enrolled in the academic year 2025/2026, for rental expenses incurred between January 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026.

For this measure, the Ministry of University and Research has allocated a total fund of €16.2 million. The amount assigned to each university will be determined by the Ministry based on the number of eligible beneficiaries selected across all state universities.

The contribution granted to each student may not exceed the amount of rent actually paid and properly documented.

Eligibility requirements include: being enrolled in the academic year 2025/2026 in a degree program at the University of Parma and being up to date with tuition and fee payments; belonging to a household with a 2025 ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) for university study benefits not exceeding €20,000; residing in a different location from that of the rented property during the period from January 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026; and not having received other forms of housing-related financial support for the same academic year (2025/2026).

Students enrolled more than once in the first year of a university course are excluded from eligibility.

For the full list of requirements and all details, please refer to the official call published on the dedicated section of the University website.

Applications must be submitted starting from June 30, 2026 and no later than 12:00 noon on July 30, 2026, exclusively online, via the provided link and by logging in with personal credentials (SPID or University credentials).

Only after the Ministry communicates the allocated amount and transfers the funds will the University proceed with the disbursement of contributions to eligible students.
